My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms seemed updated with newer bedding and furniture, which was nice. However, there was a lingering smell of uncleanliness that bothered me. The location was convenient, but the pool area looked neglected. The service was a bit of a mixed bag with some staff being argumentative, though the general manager and front desk clerk were helpful. The dining experience was average, but the extended continental breakfast was a nice touch.
Upon checking into the hotel, I found that the rooms opened to the outside, which could be stuffy due to the humid weather. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. However, the location was convenient near the highway, though the area seemed unsafe due to its industrial nature and proximity to truck stops. The dining experience exceeded my expectations with a cut above the usual fare, but I faced disturbances in front of my door. The service, especially from the night staff, was questionable, such as not providing a working key to access the room.
